Retreat Journey

Day 1: Arrival & Context

Here we focus on Settling and Grounding. In this opening chapter, we introduce the group to the fundamental philosophy that "everything is a story." By shifting our perspective from storytelling as a mere performance to a vital tool for conscious living, we set the stage for a week of radical presence and observation.

Day 3: The Landscape of Memory

Centering on Personal History as Power. This day is spent sifting through the mind’s recall to process "stuck" narratives versus those that empower us. Within the safety of our playful, creative community, we explore our personal archives to reclaim our history, consciously deciding which stories to plant for the future and which to finally let go.

Day 5: The Solstice Farewell

Focusing on Integration and Departure. We celebrate the lingering light of the Summer Solstice, moving through final reflections characterized by both laughter and silence. We depart not just with new skills, but with a new lens for daily communication and a deepened understanding of our lived experience.

Day 2: The Architecture of Voice

We shift our focus to Speech, Voice, and Technical Skill. We dive into the structural anatomy of a story, utilizing theatrical techniques such as the power of the pause, emphasis, and breath. The goal is to learn how to align your physical expression with the listener, creating a bridge of maximum impact and genuine connection.

Day 4: Integration & Performance

A day dedicated to Design and Sharing. Here, we refine and practice our chosen tales, exploring how these narratives can be layered into both professional and personal life. The day culminates in a community storytelling performance, where each participant steps fully into the role of the Storyteller to share their voice with the world.
